Industrial parks and high-tech parks are economic drivers by providing a common area as a means of promoting economy of scale for companies of similar industries. Example is the famous Hsinchu Science Based Industrial Park which houses many major hi-tech manufacturers and production-related research centers. Such parks are supported by expressways, rapid transits, telecommunication networks, cultural and recreational centers, five-star international hotel, shopping complexes, etc. MAA has been engaged to provide planning and design services for many infrastructure and utility systems of such parks.
