 |

In the last three decades, investments in the construction and improvement of local, regional and national roads, freeways and highways increased greatly in many East/Southeast Asian countries. The main reason is to meet the heavy demands of economic and traffic growth between major cities. Over the years, MAA has been engaged to provide design, construction supervision, environmental impact studies, ecological issues, architecture design for various roads and highways including viaducts, flyovers, interchanges and electronic toll collection systems. Recently, MAA has been engaged to lead the General Consultant consortium to develop the largest BOOT Electronic Toll Collection system in the world in Taiwan. The system covers a total road length of 884 km and 131 interchanges. |
